The riders return to the bumps on the road for Wednesday’s Stage 11.  The 153kms from Forli to Imola are constantly up and down, including three categorized climbs.

The first intermediate sprint occurs at 7.6kms, so a break will be hard-pressed to escape until after, probably securing around a minute or two by the summit of the first categorized climb for the day, the cat-3 Passo Del Trebbio.  Various other climbs, although none ranked, lie between the Trebbio and the next categorized climb, the cat-3 Valico Del Prugno.

On the descent, the riders will encounter the second intermediate sprint and the feedzone.

The final climb of the day—the cat-4 Tre Monti, falls just 23kms from the finish.  So, my guess is this will be a good day for the break or an attacker to pull off a win.
