Stage 14 is the one ITT in this year’s Giro.  It runs a long 59.4kms from Treviso to Valdobbiadene.  While not mountainous, this time trial doesn’t necessarily play in the favor of true TT specialists with several bumps along the way, including the Cat 4 San Pietro Di Feletto.  This happens to be the second time check on the road as well at 34kms.

The first time check is at 16.8kms, and the second is after the feed zone at 49.6kms.  With the time checks spaced out relatively evenly on the course, we should have good indications along the way as to who is having a good day and who is struggling.  Will Contador be able to make up the time he lost Friday? This is going to be a true test for sure!
