Lazer P'Nut and Nut'Z Now Have Multi-directional Impact Protection System

Antwerp, Bel – Lazer is offering what it says is the first line of childrens' helmets that include the patented Multi-directional Impact Protection System. The two kids helmet models, the Lazer P'Nut and Nut'Z, are now available in the United States.

Specialized Bicycle Components Expands Recall of Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard

Problem With the Brake Component Can Cause Fall Hazard

Washingto, DC - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Specialized Bicycle Components Inc., of Morgan Hill, Calif. today announced a voluntary recall of 2012 Bicycles with Advanced Group carbon forks. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Approval Protocol for Frames and Forks a Successful Process

Fifty Seven Makers Qualify Ninety-six Products

One year after its creation, the label « UCI frame » has been awarded to 57 manufacturers for a total of 96 different models of frames and forks.Over the next weeks, cycling followers will see the label “UCI frame” on their champion’s bikes, but also on those for sale in their favorite bike shop. All models of frames and forks produced after 1st January 2011 must sport this label in order to be used in road, track and cyclo-cross events on the UCI calendar.

Felt Becomes Official Bike of UCI World Cycling Center

Felt Bicycles has partnered with the International Cycling Union (UCI), the world governing body of cycling, to supply a full stable of road, time trial, track, mountain and BMX frames to the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland.
