Clean Bottle Gets $60,000 Investment From Shark

Clean Bottle Goes Stainless for Next Bottle

San Diego, CA – On national TV Friday, billionaire Mark Cuban offered Clean Bottle's founder a $60,000 investment in his company.

On ABC's Shark Tank program, Clean Bottle founder David Mayer and his ally, former NBA star Bill Walton, made the case for the start-up company and its next products, a stainless steel bottle and combination running bottle holder and iPod case.

The show's “Sharks” questioned Mayer about his needs and plans.

“We’re about to take out the tools for the stainless steel bottle. That’s a $60,000 investment. I need to eat, I have a family, two kids and I want strategic investors,” Mayer said.
