Ultimate Challenge Bicycle Ride Offers Pro Experiences and Tour of Utah Viewing Parties August 11

Discount Available for 40 Remaining Spots

Salt Lake City, YT – This August amateur cyclists have a unique opportunity to ride like the pros. The same course used for the Queen Stage of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah will be open to 600 recreational cyclists for The Ultimate Challenge, just hours before the pro peloton is unleashed on Saturday, August 11.  The Ultimate Challenge will coincide with the UCI stage race, and 40 spots are still available this week for a $10 discount with early registration.

Jeremy Powers 3rd Annual Grand FUNdo in Southampton, MA on July 14th

The Grand Fundo is similar to a gran fondo, but more fun! I first heard of the FUNdo three years ago. It’s a ride in Jeremy Powers’ (Jelly Belly Pro Cycling Team and Team Rapha Focus) training ground. It would be a no-drop ride and there would be a party after! How often am I going to get a chance to ride with pros and not get dropped? I would be crazy not to go.

I participated in, the first event two year’s ago, which more than exceeded my expectations. At the start of the ride, I looked to my left and there was Lyne Bessett riding along beside me. The ride is challenging with over 20 miles of dirt roads. The first half of the 65-mile ride is mostly up hill. There is also a longer and hillier option called the HUNdo because it will feel like a hundred miles. The rest stop has an ice cream truck with drinks and, of course, ice cream.
